What is Ready.gov? Here's part of their description from their web site:
Launched in February 2003, Ready is a national public service

  2. Cars won't work after an EMP

I found this video on YouTube today, and I thought it might help illustrate how EMP changes everything.

EMP is not just a threat to the nation's electric grid, which runs just about everything we use everyday. I think the "everything else" would be automobiles. 5. Welcome to EMPact America's Blog

Thanks for visiting our site. My name is Thomas Woods, and as the new Director of Multimedia Technology and webmaster for EMPact America, it is my privilege to work with very talented and patriotic people.

I joined EMPact America last month, and I've been excited to work on the web site and help get the message out about this important issue. I'm certainly no expert in EMP, but I'm learning so much just by reading and editing web pages and talking to other members of the staff and ...
