  2. So long, 2010. Hello, 2011!

    On next week's radio show on EMPactRadio.com, we'll be looking back at 2010 and talking about what happened at EMPact America and at events around the world related to EMP, so it has got me thinking about looking ahead to 2011.

  3. Nature's beauty:danger ratio

    I saw a few articles in the news about an upcoming Aurora Borealis show for the northern latitudes, which we know is upcoming because scientists watched a solar flare erupt a few days ago, and they know how long it takes to reach Earth, and it struck me that sometimes (but not always) the ratio of nature's beauty to nature's danger is pretty even. We admire Nature's beauty, but we also suffer through natural disasters.

  4. "I read the news today oh boy" - A Day in the Life of EMPact America

    Every day at EMPact America, we see news articles related to electromagnetic pulse, and we catch videos posted online, and we get email messages from members, and it can be inundating to process it all. There is so much information available, that if we read every article and viewed every video, that would pretty much take the whole day. ...

  5. Have you seen this article about EMP on USAToday.com?

    This article at USAToday.com came to my attention the other day, and I must say, those are some good graphics. I'm not saying that because I think the graphic artist did a good job in an artistic way, I'm saying that because those graphics really help get the point across. Sometimes, I think we get distracted by the intense scientific language that comes along with the physics of electromagnetic pulse.

    Here are the first three paragraphs:
