Dr. Peter Vincent Pry
Dr. Peter Vincent Pry is widely recognized as the President of EMPACT America, Inc. But he has been many other things before becoming the president. He is known for serving on the Strategic Posture of the US commission initiated by the US congress (2008-09).
Also, he has been the Director of the US Nuclear Strategy Forum and an advisor to congress on generating policies to counter weapons of mass destruction (2005-09). Furthermore, he’s been a prominent member of the EMP commission, established for assessing the threat of EMP in the USA (2001-08).
His service as a Professional Staff of the US Congress’s House Armed Services Committee from 1995 to 2001 was imposing. Serving for ten years as an Intelligence Officer of the CIA allowed him to earn the agency’s formal recognition (1985-95).
He showed excellent expertise and research skills in analyzing Soviet and Russian nuclear strategies and plans during his time with the CIA. Before that, he was a Verification Analyst for the US Arms Control and Disarmament agency that’s responsible for evaluating the Soviet’s compliance with the treaties (1984-85).
Dr. Pry has been a key player in establishing the EMP commission. He helped in running congressional hearings that aimed to warn the nation about the EMP threats posed by rogue states and terrorists.
He proved to be an extremely helpful individual to the commission in developing sophisticated plans to keep the US protected from EMP threats. His cooperation with scientists responsible for discovering the EMP phenomenon helped greatly in making groundbreaking discoveries.
Moreover, his academic qualification is quite impressive as he has two Ph.D.’s, one in International Relations and the other in US History. He also has a certificate in nuclear weapons design given by the USAF Weapons Laboratory. His books on national security issues are available in many libraries.
