Do you want to become more prepared, so you can help your family and even your community during a disaster? The final session of classes for Spring 2012 is already in session. Several local groups have come together to host basic Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. The West Seneca Office of Disaster Preparedness, the Town of Elma Office of Emergency Management, and EMPact America are sponsoring this training, which is free and open to all residents in WNY (14 years and up).
Weekday Evening Classes (Tuesday and Thursday) are being held May 15 through May 31, from 7 PM to 9 PM, a total of six 2-hour sessions.
Location: Classes are being held at the Jamison Business Park main cafeteria, 611 Jamison Road, Elma, New York. Send us an email for directions.
